Greece’s Parliament Votes on Another Bailout Reform Package

ATHENS—Greece’s parliament voted on dozens of fiscal, labor and energy reforms late Monday, as the government seeks to wrap up the current review of its bailout program, leaving just one inspection before the end of the country’s bailout regime after eight years.

“Today’s vote is pivotal for the country to successfully emerge from bailouts in seven months,” Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras told lawmakers in the 300-seat parliament ahead of the vote.

The multi-bill was backed by the coalition government of the left-wing Syriza party and junior coalition partner, right-wing Independent Greeks. The government majority was increased by one to 154 after an independent lawmaker said she would join Syriza.
