Norway and China launch free-trade talks

OSLO (Reuters) - Norway and China earlier this week began negotiations for a free-trade agreement, the Norwegian Industry Ministry said on Thursday.

In late 2016 the two countries agreed to normalize diplomatic and political ties, which had been frozen since 2010 when Chinese dissident Liu Xiaobo was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
