Jerry Corrigan is a former president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. He was also a managing director and non-executive chairman of Goldman Sachs in the United States and the United Kingdom. Jerry joined Goldman Sachs as a managing director in 1994 and was named partner in 1996.
Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Jerry served as president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where he worked for 25 years. While at the New York Fed, he served as chief executive officer and vice chairman of the Federal Open Market Committee from 1984 to 1993. Jerry has also served as president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis and special assistant to Federal Reserve Chairman Paul A. Volcker.
