About BWC

Who We Are

The Bretton Woods Committee (BWC) is a preeminent membership-based non-profit organization dedicated to effective global economic and financial cooperation.

We serve as a trusted, independent, and nonpartisan voice that promotes strong international economic institutions, sound policies, and shared prosperity.

Our work is guided by the belief that today’s global challenges—from financial stability to inclusive development—require robust multilateral engagement, informed public discourse, and cross-sector collaboration.

What We Do

We demonstrate the impact of multilateralism and the effectiveness of international financial institutions (IFIs) through public dialogue, advocacy, and policy analysis.

We convene leaders from industry and finance, academia, government, think tanks, civil society organizations, and other non-profit organizations for critical dialogue on the most pressing global economic and financial issues. Through our flagship events, high-level roundtables, and private briefings, BWC provides a forum for thoughtful, solutions-oriented engagement among public and private sector leaders.

We also advise international and multilateral policymakers by producing in-depth and timely analysis and actionable policy recommendations on critical global, country-level, and cross-country economic and financial topics. Our outreach and advocacy efforts aim to inform policymakers, other influential stakeholders, the media, and the broader public about the essential role of international cooperation in fostering global economic stability and growth.

Together, these efforts advance our mission to support a stronger, more inclusive, and forward-looking international financial system.
