A new report from the U.S. Department of the Treasury explores the uses, opportunities, and risks of artificial intelligence (AI) in financial regulation. Written by BWC Member Jeanette Quick and her colleagues in the Office of Financial Institutions, this research builds on previous Treasury reports as well as stakeholder use-cases to identify policy considerations and next steps. As AI continues to emerge and evolve, their team recommends more research and consumer education.
