Global Capital Flows into Japan & Iran Deadline Sends Oil Higher and Shakes Markets 

BWC Member Alexis Crow recently appeared on Bloomberg to discuss both Japan’s monetary outlook as well as the economic impacts of conflict in Iran. She explained how Japan is attracting strong overseas investment into stocks, FDI, and long-term bonds despite its high government debt. The outlook hinges on debt markets, monetary policy, the yen, and structural reforms. In a separate conversation, Alexis examines the overestimation of the potential for Iran’s markets with increasing oil prices and how this prolonged congestion will affect global oil and gas markets.
