In his latest piece, BWC member Hung Tran argues that the African Union can become a more globally influential bloc and greatly increase Africa’s voice on the global stage. But to do so, “[t]he AU must fundamentally strengthen its organizational structure and secure autonomous funding to function more effectively and independently.”
