Membership Requirements & How to Join
Selected by invitation only, our members are influencers from every region of the world who share the common belief that international economic cooperation is essential and best served through strong, effective multilateral institutions. Our members include business executives, international policymakers, former U.S. government officials, and distinguished professionals in academia, among others.
We rely on our members to periodically share their perspectives and help our membership grow. We understand that members are busy and place no requirements on participation. Members choose to participate in BWC programs as their schedules permit. All members make an annual contribution, which is tax-deductible in the U.S., to support our work and mission. Thought Leadership
Members lead our policy work through working groups. Participation allows you or your company to help shape our outputs and contribute subject matter expertise.
Engage
Convening dozens of events annually, BWC is dedicated to facilitating the exchange of ideas through flagship conferences, expert panel discussions, roundtables, and other events.
Exclusive Access
Members gain access to influential leaders and intellectual resources including industry leaders, top government officials, and senior multilateral representatives as well as the issues, ideas, and institutions impacting international economic cooperation.
Influence
BWC is the only organization dedicated exclusively to international economic cooperation and coordination. In this role, multilateral institutions and policymakers actively seek out and value our advice.
Types of Membership
Individual Membership
Individual membership covers the participation of one individual. Membership is not transferable. Individual members maintain their membership in the event of retirement or a change in affiliation.
Organizational Membership
Organizational memberships allow for participation of executives and emerging leaders across an organization. This is most mutually beneficial when there is a singular coordinating point of contact and when those with policy portfolios are actively engaged in BWC’s working groups and convenings.
