Today we welcome new member Irina Shaorshadze to BWC!

Irina Shaorshadze is a Director and FICC Quant Strategist at Bank of America Global Research where she works on quantitative investment solutions and commodities. She has previously worked in the Economics team and at Global Risk. Prior to BofA she worked at the World Bank on fiscal policy and safety nets in MENA and Eastern Europe.

Irina holds a PhD in Economics (UW-Madison), and master’s degrees from LSE and Columbia University (SIPA). She has served as the president at NYABE where she is currently a leadership advisor. Irina speaks Georgian, English, Russian, Spanish, French and Arabic.
