Christopher M. Schroeder is the co-founder of Next Billion Adventures, a venture capital and advisory firm focusedon rising markets. He is an entrepreneur, advisor, and investor in interactive technologies and social communications and author of the best-selling Startup Rising: The Entrepreneurial Revolution Remaking the Middle East.

Schroeder previously served as CEO and publisher of washingtonpost.newsweek interactive and co-founded HealthCentral.com. He serves on the board of trustees of the German Marshall Fund.
