Today we welcome new member Annette Nazareth to BWC!

Annette L. Nazareth is Chair of the Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market (ICVCM), an independent governance body that evolved from the Taskforce on Scaling Voluntary Carbon Markets.

She brings decades of experience in financial services regulation and corporate governance, currently serving as Senior Counsel at the global law firm Davis Polk & Wardwell, where she previously served as Partner and head of the Washington DC office. Prior to her time in private practice, Nazareth was a key figure in U.S. financial services regulation, most notably as a Commissioner of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and as the SEC’s Director of the Division of Trading and Markets.
