Today we welcome new member Christopher Smart to BWC!

Christopher Smart is the founder and managing partner of the Arbroath Group, which delivers macroeconomic and geopolitical insights and strategy to firm clients. An accomplished investment leader and former senior government official, he served as Special Assistant to the President at the National Economic Council and National Security Council, and as Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Treasury, where he led the U.S. response to the European financial crisis.

Prior to founding the Arbroath Group, he was Chief Global Strategist at Barings and founder of the Barings Investment Institute. He has also held senior fellowships at Carnegie, Harvard Kennedy School, and Chatham House.
