Today we welcome new member Julie Remache to BWC!

Julie Remache is Deputy Manager of the System Open Market Account (SOMA) and Head of Market and Portfolio Analysis at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where she works closely with the SOMA manager to implement monetary policy as directed by the FOMC. As Head of Market and Portfolio Analysis, she leads teams responsible for market monitoring, analytical work supporting monetary policy and financial stability decisions, and policy implementation.

With more than 25 years of experience in financial markets and public policy, she is widely nrecognized for her expertise in monetary policy implementation and the role of the balance sheet as a policy instrument.
