Neha Narula
Money Is a System You Can Redesign

During a time of increased use of AI in economics, BWC Member Neha Narula joins Marieke Flament and Nicolas Colin on the Currency of Power podcast for a conversation about programmable money, quantum risk, and political implications of the digital dollar. She predicts that AI will be a key part of the process of capitalizing on programmable money in the next 10 years. However, the question lies in whether stablecoins or cryptocurrencies are the best tools for implementing this economic digitalization. Narula explains the fears of CBDCs, including lessened financial surveillance, increased bias, and restriction toward buyers. She states that continuous research and technological development are central to continuing the conversation regarding programmable money and the role of the dollar.
