Johnson, CFP recently submitted formal comments to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency in response to the agency’s request for input on stablecoin regulation under the GENIUS Act. Drawing on decades of senior leadership in payments and wealth management, Johnson raises pointed concerns about the blockchain industry’s operational readiness for mass adoption, arguing that significant gaps in transaction capacity and reliability could pose serious risks to the stability of the global financial system if left unaddressed.
