In a recent article from the Atlantic Council, BWC Members Hung Tran and Barbara C. Matthews discuss the contrast in crypto policy between the United States and the European Union. Citing indecision in the U.S. up until now, Tran and Matthews make the case that President Trump’s recent Executive Order sends the U.S. into a pro-blockchain policy trajectory. While this seems to directly conflict with the EU’s stance, the article goes on to share opportunities for alignment on this topic.
