In this recent piece, BWC member Mark Sobel argues that the upcoming G7 summit will be a crucial test of cohesion and credibility. He writes that the renewed momentum in recent years of the G7 as a “cohesive, democratically aligned forum” will be tested and it will be difficult for the foreseeable future to reach an answer on how well the forum can function in the short-term.
