At a time when average temperatures are breaking records and COP leaders are making promises, Tran shares opportunities for countries in the Global South to strengthen their roles in world affairs. He notes, “Global South countries can better leverage their abundant mineral resources to drive hard bargains with the competing blocs…for useful investment and trade deals.”
