Watch Now: BWC’s Future of Finance Forum 2026

The global financial system is entering a period of profound transformation, moving beyond legacy infrastructure toward a tokenized future. While tokenization promises faster settlement, fractional ownership, greater transparency, and lower costs, it also brings new challenges—from fragmented digital ecosystems to regulatory arbitrage and uneven standards that risk undermining trust and stability.

Following successful editions in Hong Kong and Singapore, the Bretton Woods Committee returned to Singapore on 9 March 2026 to host its annual Future of Finance Forum. This year’s Forum convened regulatory leaders, global policymakers, and private-sector innovators to examine a “dual-track” approach to the tokenized future of finance. Discussions focused on advancing domestic innovation while strengthening international cooperation to ensure trust, scalability, and global interoperability.
