POSTPONED

Regrettably, the Annual Meeting has been postponed until a later date TBD. As the coronavirus has spread over the past few weeks, the health and safety of our membership and community is our first priority. The IMF/WBG Spring Meetings have moved to a virtual platform and registration has been suspended.

In the face of sluggish global growth exacerbated by trade tensions between major economic powers and growing political uncertainty in some of the world’s largest emerging markets, global leaders must make the case for multilateral coordination and collaboration as a catalyst for growth and progress. Confronting the disruptive forces of rapid demographic shifts, increasing economic multipolarity, a burdensome buildup of global debt, digitalization and innovation in financial technology, and the ever-urgent reality of climate change requires effective global governance. The Bretton Woods Committee’s 37th Annual Meeting will convene public sector, private sector, and multilateral leaders to discuss how to push back against global fragmentation.
